Reunited.

First time being reunited with my Les Paul Studio guitar in about 6 months - the one I paid off when I was 17 working in the kitchen at the Stonehouse Pub in Sidney by the sea - Canoe Cove area - near the Vancouver Island Ferries.  At a time when I was really stoked on Lenny Kravitz and NIN in the early 90's.  A spontaneous flood of emotions from this past summer of 2024 poured into the strings - something impossible to force and purely a natural response to arriving in a Heaven after crawling plodding trudging trodding flailing flying riding like mad through the fires of Hell for some unknown eternity.  All in shreds.  Regenerating.  Coming back together with an old and treasured friend - my beloved aubergine Ankh blessed studio guitar - pretty joyous and most excellent!!  The 2nd half is a little distorted but won't hurt your speakers - I put the mic. about a foot out from an 80 watt Celestion lead guitar speaker to see what it would sound like, then got lost in the music.....  I've always been more of a player than an audio engineer!!  I'd guess ''lightning in a bottle'' would sound a little like this - with 220Volts running through an Orange Tiny Terror with all them tubes a'glow and the whole system on overdrive!!  Glad I could capture this though, to share with friends - it was a sunny morning in the cabin studio with the light pouring in windows with all blinds removed and the golden red colors of fall glowing in the crisp October air outside.  If you're feeling gloomy, it will most likely lift your spirits - especially if you're a lover of that electric guitar sound, as I most definitely AM!!!
